We do not employ commissioned salespeople to ensure that each decision is made on behalf of the customer and the customer only. We understand that without totally satisfied repeat customers, we cannot and will not survive.

Management Bios

Wayne Beasley, General Partner
Wayne partnered with Alan to form Way To Be in 1991, supplying printed t-shirts and caps to small businesses and non-profit organizations. Word soon spread, and just five years later the company had become a national supplier to McDonald's, as well as a number of other Fortune 500 firms. Wayne holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from St. Mary’s College of California.

Alan McIntosh, General Partner
Alan holds a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of Texas. Today Wayne and Alan lead Way To Be the way they did from the very first day... with a personal commitment to our customers’ success.

Andrea Ferris, Vice President of Business Development
Andrea came on board with Way To Be in 2004, but has been considered part of the team since 2000 when she was Way To Be’s account manager at their catalog agency. Andrea has more than 13 years experience in account management, project management, marketing and advertising. A native of the East Coast, she graduated from the University of Maryland.

Mia McIntosh, Vice President of Marketing Operations
Mia joined Way To Be in 2001 upon graduating from UC Davis, and just can’t imagine herself anywhere else! While in college, Mia worked as Public Relations intern at UPN in Sacramento and was also Facilities Manager for the UC Davis Alumni Association.

Michelle Gilliland, Senior Director of Business Development
Our newest member of the management team, Michelle joins Way To Be with 20 years of marketing experience in a variety of Account Service and Creative capacities, and over 12 years as an agency partner to Fortune 100 companies such as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo. Michelle graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and lives in Aurora, IL with her family.
